Der Begriff Hörbehinderung umschreibt alle Arten von Beeinträchtigungen des auditiven Systems. Dazu gehören:

• Hörschädigung

• Schwerhörigkeit
• Resthörigkeit
• Gehörlosigkeit

• Tinnitus
• Gehörgangstenose (Verengung des Aussenohres, angeb., traumat., auch entzündl.), bis zum Verschluss (Gehörgangatresie)
